Vision Statement

As I progress through the doctoral program, I envision a leadership identity that is data-informed, student-centered, and advocacy-driven. My goal is to influence nursing education at the policy level, champion innovation in clinical instruction, and foster the next generation of nurse leaders.

Goals:

🎯 Goal 1: Educational Policy Leadership

  • Description: I aim to participate in shaping nursing education standards at the state or national level.
  • Action: Join advocacy committees, publish policy research.

🎯 Goal 2: Simulation & Technology Innovation

  • Description: I want to lead implementation of advanced simulation in underserved nursing programs.
  • Action: Pilot innovative tools during dissertation project.

🎯 Goal 3: Faculty Development & Mentorship

  • Description: Grow as a mentor for new faculty and doctoral students.
  • Action: Create a faculty mentorship program post-graduation.

Reflection Paragraph

Achieving these goals requires continued development in systems thinking, policy analysis, and transformational change leadership. Through the PLGP and coursework, I am strengthening these competencies and preparing to lead with purpose and precision.
